e450 sucking vacuum at gas cap. Is this normal?

We recently purchased a 2008 jayco melbourne 29d and I can hear the gas cap sucking air in every minute. When I take it off it whooshes air into the tank. It is definately a vacuum cause I can put my ear by the cap when I open it and get no breeze or odor. Can someone tell me if this is normal. She runs like a champ.

Also...........does anyone know if there are suposed to be travel bars or tubes with this unit? Has stickers inside that tell you where to put them but there are none.

We love this unit.

Thanks,
Kurt

You need a new gas cap. Ford has a sealed system for the gas tank. The reason I know this is because I had to remove my locking gas cap because it gave me the fuel cap missing light on the dash. It wasn't pressurized.
