I keyed it to the Toad. Same for the Hitch pin. Figured it was one less key to hopefully not lose.

The 30A hardwired unit was my first addition. I picked it up at line attachment. in Apex, and then took my time looking at the until and reading instructions. Then I came home and it was a simple install. Chose not to use the remote as I see the performance in the basement when I have connected and all and everything is great. It was great buying it 30 minutes from the house and would be on the way for our maiden voyage if something wasn't right.

Winnebago used a piece of plywood screwed to the inside of the shore cord compartment to mount a receptacle for the generator output and another 4x4 box for the shore cord to coach wiring junction. I made a new piece of plywood, larger and nicer, sanded and varnished when done. I used T nuts with the heads recessed just flush and 10-32 screws to mount the plywood using the existing holes, and also for mounting the LCHW30 in place of the 4x4 junction box and the generator receptacle box too.

Got mine from Tweety's for $222 with free shipping and no tax. It is now $239, unit with intergral display is $219.

I ended up doing it the same way today with the EMS-LCHW30 hard wired surge protector on our Itasca 25B. It's working good, monitors shore power and generator power. I'm tired now, might try and make it a bit straighter tomorrow if I can get some conduit slack. Here's a photo if this works-
