First Camping Trip (Pics).

My folks took us to Bear Creek Lake just outside Kelowna B.C. for the weekend. Awesome spot! We were the only campers and had the lake all to ourselves.

Our first trip went pretty well. The MH itself worked fine with the odd annoyance as in the outdoor plug needs to have the generator on. But overall it was perfect. The nights got to near freezing temps, and the furnace kept us nice and toasty. Since we were dry camping, we learned that we can probably get away with 5 days before the black tank needs emptied. As long as one can dump the grey and have extra water on hand or near by. In regards to supplies, we could of used a few things....but we did pretty good trying to imagine what we needed to prep up. The O`lady thought I was nutz buying a good cordless chainsaw....but it didnt take long for us to burn through ton of wood. Etc...

For you dog lovers out there.....we had 3 bald eagles in our area. One was sure interested in our small dogs and and to keep them in arms length at all times. We already discussed that our next trip will be eagle free

To bad the weather turned to worse yesterday and had to pack up a couple days earlier.

The new Nexus rocked the trip otherwise! Everything worked and handled the crazy off roads just fine. Solid unit.

Here are some pics...enjoy & cheers.

Looks and reads like you had a nice trip. As for the outside plug, I would assume it's a 120V outlet, so unless you have an inverter, you would need shore power or run the generator to get power at that plug.
I'd suggest you read the owner's manual, and all the other manuals for the unit. There should be lots of good information in them, and answers to some of your questions and concerns.

Yes we have an inverter. Our 2 plugs for the TV`s are the only ones that work with the inverter. And for the manuals...like most, not enough detail to address this scenario.

Thanks.
