First ride in a C

We took our first test drive in a Class C Holiday Rambler Atlantis 28 ft. This unit is equipped with airbags in the rear. I was expecting to have to fight the wheel as it was windy and have read about the swaying that units can have with adding swaybars. There was none of that. I ran it up to 70mph with no problem. Now I don't think I would cruise at that speed, but I pushed it anyway to see what would happen. After going about 20 miles I turned the unit around and asked if the admiral would want to try it. She was game. Whew She enjoyed it and had no problems at all. Just a little nervous. The unit didn't make any noise except the stove vent flap on the outside was flapping. When we got back to the dealer we fount there are clips to hold it closed and one was broken.
The unit was quiet, stable, and comfortable. We went over RR tracks at 65 and all there was was a slight bumb and we could hardly hear it.
This unit is a 2002 with 25k on the clock. Leather, power pilot and copilot seats.

Are you thinking about buying it? I just sold my 1992 27' class C and it was amazing to feel the difference in the drive based on load, tire pressure, etc.

This one has two slides. Wow that is good to hear, I can't find out much about the Atlantis series. I really haven't heard anything bad though.

Thanks
Dave
