Wheel base shouldn't be any problem.
A small MH has advantages over the larger ones, We owned a 21ft micro-mini before getting the Mirada.

You can fit them in just about anywhere you can put a full size auto. gas mileage is a little better (not much), etc
We had a rule,: one sitter and one doer. Two people couldn't move around at the same time, so one had to sit while the other did things. :-)
An interesting note, our 30ft Mirada has almost exactly the same equipment as our old Toyhouse, very basic, but functional, and a large queen size bed vs the overhead bunks.
