Early this coming week I am leaving on my first adventure. It was several months ago when I posted as a new member. It was hoped that my wife and I could share one trip before she became to ill. Sadly that did not happen. On Feb. 2 she passed away. I can not explain how much I miss her. She had been sick for a long time and was the bravest person I have ever known. Her story is tragic and she was never bitter. If anyone ever had a right to be it would be her.
It has been two months now and I am finally ready to leave on my first trip. I am going to spend a couple of nights near Charlotte then on to Cumming GA to visit with my son, DIL and grandson. I hope to spend around a week there and then on to Baton Rouge to visit with brother and his family. Several nights there and on to FL gulf coast for a few days at the beach. Next it is over to Jacksonville to visit with another brother who is there on his boat for the winter. Then up to Kiawah to spend a few days with a friend and play some golf then home. I am hoping to be back here around May first to attend a friends internment at Arlington Cemetery.
I know I have lots to learn but am a big believer in learning by doing. I bought a new car to tow (2014 Kia Soul) it is awesome for what I need it for. Had a friend give me lots of stuff from the MH they sold recently. I am very much looking forward to this trip and hope I will enjoy it. If I do, and I am pretty sure I will I will set out again mid June for another month.
Wish me luck!!!!! Almost forgot my little Bichon "JAZZY" will be with me. Gives me someone to talk to.

Deepest sympathy on your loss. I'm sure she'll be with you as you take these next exciting steps. Safe travels with your little fur-kid.
