Flat Screen TV'S

I've got two 32" Jenson flatscreens in my class C and I was wondering if these tvs need to be taken out for winter temps.I'm in Tennessee so I get a good mix of cool and cold temps thru winter.

Have had flat screen Aquos for five years now here in Maryland, No problems.

I once inquired about the same thing. I was told to let the TVs warm up to room temperature for about 8 hours before turning on. This was to allow any moisture that might have occurred inside the TV set to disappate. Better safe than sorry!!

I have been told the same thing for same reason and have ALWAYS followed it. If your in hurry you could try a fan to speed it up but I would still give it a couple of hours at least.

I went to fire up the Satellite and tvs last Sat morning for the road trip to Lincoln and the dishnet receiver gave a warning that said it must be 40 degrees before it will run lol. Cranked the heat up and was rolling in a couple minutes. Never knew that before but good to know.

TVs are the most often stolen items when stored RVs are broken into. You might remove them and put a sign on all doors stating all items of value have been removed if you store your RV in a less secure location.
