We tried it on our overhead bunk window to seal the edges. It made quite a mess and flaked off pretty easy after a week or so...

You get what you pay for. I went with a known RV product and will continue to spend the extra few bucks for something that's a little more well known in the RV industry.

Good Luck with whatever you choose!

I tried Flex Seal and the Rustoilum's brand to stop a rain leak in one of our storage compartments. Finally used the expanding foam insulation product to stop the leak.

It worked for me to stop water leaks into the storage bay of my previous coach. Held up for 2-3 years, then needed to be re-applied.

Tested it on a plastic garbage can. Flaked badly. Began to peel after a week. It is garbage. I would not use on an RV

I used it to seal a small crack in a compartment, been a year and still ok. A bit messy, be sure to mask off or cover whatever you don't want to get overspray on, just like spray paint. Wear gloves too, altho it will wear off your hands in a fairly short time!

It's probably good for temporary small areas, but I would not use it for permanent seals. It does tend to peel off after a short time and needs to be reapplied.

Yep, I was watching the commercials, really paying attention with astonishment. Ready to go out and buy a case of the stuff. It's got to be good stuff if you can turn a pickup truck into a submarine right?

Brilliant!

Well, I don't need a floating screen door so I'll stick with the known RV products for any needed fix. There is no [one fixes all] solution in most cases.

Look for the report on this in Consumer Reports. I don't think they gave the stuff a good rating.
