Ford 305 Arm rest

the drivers arm rest flops down. Now I know a little about GM seats but the Ford once I opened the zipper still no access do I have to go in from the seat back to remove and probably weld up the stop.

Too many other things going to attack without a hint.

We fulltime in a 5er but use the C to get away and last Saturday our storage unit went up in flames so in the big picture the arm rest is small but every time I drive it I get annoyed. So it would be a little good news

Thanks

Didn't really lose much but the dang PAPERWORK!!!

HELLO mIKELL had the same problem,i went by the zipper side , feel the mecanism with my finger evaluate the thickness of the shim necessary, i bend a piece a metal in a U form carefully insert between the armrest and the stopper and evaluate the improvment, it does the job the first try, be patient you will succed, good luck !
