My center console won't stay latched and I don't see any means it adjust it or the catch. These pictures aren't mine but from another person with the same problem. Any thoughts as to what can be done it make it work apart from fabricating something?

Check the alignment of the catch. It may not be grabbing the bar or the bar may be to low and a simple bend with a screwdriver may be all it needs.

Thanks. The gotcha is the catch is plastic, so I anticipate any bending will break it. What is happening in my case is the gap at the top of the door is too large. I don't see any means to raise the door up by about 1/8 to 3/16 inch.

I ended up fixing this by trimming a pampered chef nylon scraper and gluing it to the back of the plastic catch for the latch. With no adjustment possible, this seems to be holding just fine.
