Ford E-series cutaway chassis going away?

Was just wondering if Ford will still be producing the E-series chassis that is used for so many Class C MH's for the foreseeable future. With all the downsizing going on, I have not read or heard anything about their future. We looked at a unit built on the Transit chassis last week and it doesn't feel powerful or heavy duty enough for the majority of MH's currently being built. Has anyone heard anything about this?

All the new cutaway cube vans we have seen this year are the full size Transit vans.
Very similar to Sprinter . Several engine options and drive very well,I am very curious to see what they will be like as a Class C and B.

A couple years ago they said they'd keep making the chassis & cutaway cab until the end of the decade. So there are still a few years left.

Has anyone seen any documented gas mileage data for the Transit based coaches? I haven't been able to locate that information on the few that exist so far.
