Forest River rv's looking to buy

Looking to buy a Forest River Sunseeker either 28 or 30 ft. We like the Coachman Leprechaun but read on this blog that the workmanship is not all it should be. Did Forest River buy Coachman that is what we just read? If so does anyone see improvements in quality?

I would not decide to buy a particular model or manufacturer based on blog opinions. Go with what you like and what works for your needs. Check out the quality for yourself.

Forest River did buy Coachman. I owned a couple Coachman class A motorhomes and Shasta Class C. Buy what works for you and don't look back. The dealership is who you have to really on.

I have a Coachmen Freelander.

I have no problems with it at all, except for a cracked control board that was fixed on warranty.
Coachmen now uses composite wall panels from Azdel
For kicks check coachmen's YouTube vids where they use a pitching machine to through base balls at the side of different rvs.
Best of luck in your choice.

Yea I have a 2013 Coachman and there were a few quality issues that I have since fixed but would have thought they would have found it before it rolled out. I think all of the manufacturers have quality issues. I was told that after about the first year everything should be worked out. None of it was hard to fix just pick one that you like the layout on and go for it. I love ours. The colors on both the outside and interior are wonderful. It took the wife and I several trips to find just the right one.
