Forester 3011DS vs Four Winds 31L

I'm considering purchasing either a Forest River Forester 3011DS or a Thor Four Winds 31L. Does anyone out there own either? If so, please tell me about your unit, the good and the bad.

Thanks in advance.

I have the Sunseeker 3010ds and I really like it. It's the brother to the Forester. Not much bad to tell. A very few warranty issues the dealer took care of. The Forester has a 7500 lb towing capacity don't forget. Both are nice and I think you get good service out of both. I'd get the full body paint. Good luck!

Yeah, I am thinking that tow capacity is only 5000 lbs. Better check that with manufacturer, might be a misprint.

Forest River recently increased the towing capacity of the Ford E450 based motorhomes to 7500 lbs.

How can Forest River increase towing on a Ford product? I like it, but am skeptical when all other 31 ft. Class C are 5000 lb max tow.

Ford rates them to tow 7,500#, since they have a 14,500# GVWR and a 22,000# GCWR. It's the various motor home manufacturers that have been down rating them, I assume because of their frame extensions. It's good to see Forest River upping the tow capacity, perhaps the other manufacturers will follow their lead.
