we test drove this last evening and would like to know about the noise, rattles, shakes and squeeks. Is this normal. Price and layout are great but unsure of noisy ride. This will be our first RV. Thanks for the help

Some is normal. Some of the noise goes away when you load it up and put weight in it.Your best bet would be to test drive same model and types at other dealerships and compare.Mine has some odd noises also.

I have a 2006 Thor Four Winds 6.6L diesel based on the Chevy C5500 Kodiak chassis. After 14,000 miles I have minor squeaks in the dash and somewhere around the drivers seat. There shouldn't be any major squeaks or noises. We love ours, but it IS a truck.

We test drove a Jayco Seneca on the same chassis and the power brake booster noise was continuous. That was not right. Only time I hear it on the Four Winds is when I push all the way down hard on the brake. This seems normal.

thanks so much for the help, we drove down to the keys from ft lauderdale to see the coach in our 07 lincoln towncar and after a 90 minute drive in quiet and luxury was a little concerned about the squeeks, rattles and noises, but i have to remember its not a lincoln, its a truck and we are so looking forward to the experience. thanks again

Remember that you have a house following you around and the cabinets, walls, doors al will move and creak. Once loaded, you wil be running around trying to find more rattles and such from all of the stuff you loaded.

One thing that is not acceptable is noises coming from the dash and slides.
