Front overcab window

Rubber weatherstripping loose, shrunk and deformed. No leaking noted yet.
Questions:
Is the glass held in by more than just the rubber weatherstrip?
Could I just pull the rubber weatherstrip and fill the channel with appropriate caulking to better safeguard against possible future leaks developing?
Thanks

Not 100% sure but I think the weatherstrip holds the window. There is probably some adhesive but I'm not sure I'd trust it.

I'm getting ready to replace my weatherstrip for the same reason.

This company should have what you need. Order the sample kit to be sure you're getting the correct size.

The window definitely has some type of adhesive behind it that seals/holds it in.
I think the rubber weatherstrip may also help to hold it in.
My local RV dealer sells different sizes of it . Was told to just bring the old in to match. Will be soon doing so. Just concerned about all the reported leeks at this location.
Thanks
