Full Coach Painting

For veteran Class C RVers, would you recommend spending the extra several thousand dollars on full body paint? ......... thanks ......... JIM

Full body paint was a major consideration for me when looking to purchase a used class C m/h. Didn't want to have to deal w/ fading & peeling decals or dulling finish of fiberglass. Found a lightly used 2013 Winnebago Aspect w/ full body paint that had been kept in a garage that looked as good as a 2016 cosmetically.

I special ordered a new 2015 Winnebago Aspect. I chose almost every option except the in dash GPS, demand hot water and full body paint.

I didn't do it to save money but I did save a good bit. I did it because the new WBG standard finish looks great and I don't have to worry about paint chips that I had on my 08 Tiffin. I do take care of my stuff and I expect to get 8 to 10 years with no decal issues. If they become an issue, I can probably change them 5 times for what I saved.

2 year ago we bought our 2008 Aspect with full body paint. I didn't pay extra for the unit because it had full body paint. Ours came from AZ originally and in several places the clear coat had baked away leaving unsightly blotches. I would not pay extra for Full Body paint either new or used.
