What chassis is it on?

Ford E-350, 460 engine, heavy duty transmission and Dana rear end.
Thanks for the help, I just bought this and the previous owner told me 25 or 26. I went to fikll the tank up when i was btween E and 1/4. It only took 21 gallons of gas but the needle did not go all the way to full. The owners manual for the E-350 says 36 but this obviously is not the van. I find it hard to believe it is only 25 gallons. My thought is that either there is a problem with filling it all the way and the old owners who only had it for 2 years were not aware of the problem or when it shows empty there is still plenty of gas in the tank or i am just stuck with a small tank, if that is the case do youy know anyone who does tank adders?

Bernie, they may be installing a smaller tank so that other holding tanks (grey, black and maybe fresh water) can be installed. You might want to look under the coach to be sure someone has not dented in the bottom of the fuel tank, reducing the total capacity. Let us know what you find.
