Generator Issue

My A/C works when plugged into electric at campground. However doesn't turn on when Generator is turned on when camping without electric hook up.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Will need some info, Generator type, AC type. However; first guess is my Genny has 2 circuit breakers on it make sure yours are reset.

You didn't say what type of generator you have, what brand RV, or if it has an automatic transfer switch. Transfer switches are not always provided on some lower priced RV's, so you may need to manually plug your shore power electric cord into a RV receptacle that is powered by the generator.

Cannot possibly be working on it, 2 things to check, is it producing current, is it transferring. Get it out of there and don't pay them a dime, post their name so others can avoid them.

We have a 2013 Coachmen Freelander 28-QB. The 30 amp shore power cord plugs into a receptacle located inside and on the left side of its storage box when not using shore power. The only automatic transfer part is me manually plugging it into this receptacle every time I disconnect from shore power. lol

Well looks like that is the OP and Richie156's answer, and "the shop" has had a coach for 3 months.

Problem solved as I forgot to plug the power cord into the receptacle in the storage compartment.
