Generator won't crank

I have a 1993 Ford E350 Motor home I put a new battery in the right side and now I cant start my generator, it won't crank

Check the ground between the battery and the frame/coach. Measure the voltage between the + side of the battery and a ground (not the one on the battery). My experience is that 90% of the time it is a poor ground.

If it cranked before installing the new battery, are you sure it didn't have 2 positive cables on it, and one was left off ?
