Genset - No spark at sparkplug

We just came back from a week long road trip where everything went well and everything worked. One week late the generator won't start. No spark at the sparkplug. Just POOF! Overnight, no spark. It cranks, it has oil and it's getting gas. It's obviously something very simple. Any ideas? Please tell me it's something simple/cheap.

I'm no expert but I do have the service manual for my 4KY. Here are a couple of the pages that explain t/s a cranks fine but no ignition problem.

Thanks, Guys. I'm off to the motorhome storage lot. With this new info I am about to put what we call "The ol oilfield fix" on it. I'm either gonna fix it or mess it up so bad I have to buy a new one. Stay tuned. And thanks.
