I would like to hear from anyone who has/or had Good Sam Extended Service Plan. Just your quick thoughts and any issues that you encountered having or had using this plan.
Thanks

GS ESP
Purchased a Class A in January and took over the current GS ESP. We have unfortunately had two claims already. Last one 2 weeks ago, was a turbo and the covered 5000 of the 7000+ claim. Understand that the deductible is just another thing the deduct from the final payment, but it still saved us 5000.00. We will continue with them as they do pay (but not everything less the deductible). 🧐🤨

Cancelled ours during the 30 grace period. Found they don't have enough Tech's and the wait time for service was outrageous. Plus if new the warranty, most things are one or two years.

I would self insure. Better to pay yourself than any company. Just take what you would pay in premiums and sock it away. Haven't heard very good things about them.

I'm not a believer in extended warranties. I prefer to self insure. The extended warranties all seem to have exemptions to the claims, and they turn into a hassle. JMO

Understand what it covers, follow the rules about repairs. Also use a shop that also knows how to spell out problem for coverage. Broke covered worn out not.

Had one on mine for the first two years of ownership just in case something went south. After I got all of the maintenance and service up to speed and felt comfortable with the coach, I stopped it. Never had a claim.
