Get ahold of the Fleetwood service department at the factory. The can send you diagrams that will help with the connections.

There are 4 wires, Two are :Big lug" wires and are interchangable, don'e matter which one goes where, The other two are "Small lug" and there are two ways to hook 'em up.

Oh, here is how you test it
You will need a test light or volt meter, Nothing else

Start by hooking up ONE big lug, leave the other NC for now

Hook up both small wires, tighten finger tight.

Now operate the controlling switch both the ON and OFF (USE/STORE) conditions you can use either one but leave it on for now.

Test using the test light.. Clip to a solid ground tip to the connected big lug,, Bright light = good to test.. Test the N/C lug.. Bright light = Solenoid closed, Connection good.. Tighten the small lugs

IF solenoid works BACKWARDS (That is on is off and off is on) reverse small wires.. Only the small wires matter.

Now just to be sure go move the control switch to OFF

You should no longer have light on the N/C lug.. if that is the case. Hook up the cable to it and properly tighten

CAUTION. Voltage present with enough current to melt your wrench and 3rd degree burn your hand.. Disconnect battery NEGATIVES before tightening the big lugs if there is any danger of a short You may connect "Finger tight" without disconnect to make testing easier but protect before tightening .
