Gulf Stream Toy Hauler

I just purchased a 2008 Gulf Stream EnduraMax toy hauler. On the way home, the garage door raised from the closed position to about half way up. I can't seem to keep it down. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing the garage door to move to the open position when driving? The garage door is electrically operated.

There is a keyed lock on that door also at the bottom, if not kept locked there are pins in the roller door that will break off when driving, learned the hard way, twice, I no longer use the electric as pins are broke again, just do it by hand, Ive had this unit since new so any other questions feel free to ask

Thanks for responding. My unit only had 4300 miles on it since I purchased it on December 2, 2012. It sat in storage for quite some time. I had a complete service done to the engine and generator. The only problem I have so far is the garage door. The dealer that I purchased it from said that he tried to lock the door but could not lock it. I have not tried to lock the door but that will be my next step. Do you just pull the door down by hand then lock it bypassing the electric system? Thanks for your help!

Hpy thats what exactly what I do , On mine anyway if I use the electric and don't lock, those darn pins break, so i just do by hand and lock with mechanical door lock otherwise it will raise up just like you noted
