Help. Slide out problem

Slide out only comes out 4 to 6 inches the stops. Don't know why. Tried rocking it. Seems like nothing will let it come out any more. Motor stops when it stops so it's not like putting a drag on it.

More information. What kind of slide do you have? There could be something in the track that the slide rides on.

Looks like it's called powergear. Appears to be an electric system not a hydraulic system. I don't have any info on it except the owners manual which just explains how to operate it. We've check the tracks several times the best we could see. Nothing was found.

Problem fixed. Small bolt on top of the of the generator hitting the guide roller for the slide out.

As you have learned, the motor stops if the resistance to movement is too great. It's a built-in safety stop to avoid damaging the motor. Remove the resistance and all is well again.
