Yes, I'm just being 'preventive' (I hope), as while it 'ain't broke' it does have a few known issues related to heat that should be addressed in a motor that is being worked all the time (one example, is the duty cycle of a loaded RV). That said, its still a great motor. And yes, they were mainly in pick-ups, but many found there way into the E-Series and cutaways for cube vans, ambulances, RV's that sort of thing. Ford actually de-tuned the performance of the 6.0 diesel in the E's due to the cramped engine compartment and difficulty in shedding heat ( or alternatively, they just didn't hop it up like the pick-ups which are sold on performance numbers). The new 6. 7L diesel would not fit in the E-series, so they provide F-series cutaways for the Super C's now.
