Assuming you have the typical frame mount under the step drop one in instead of 2 and it will work. That is the way a lot of them come.

Given proper care they should last a lot longer than 2 years but we can all tell you how we screwed something up. ;-)

Yes, often our human brains overload or misfire causing screw-ups.

An Einstein misquote: one definition of insanity is constantly repeating the same experiment and expecting different results.

Put two new house batteries in the RV. Dealer paid for one and I paid for the second battery. All is well on this end.

I also just bought two new house batteries to replace my Harris units. They were made in 2011 and I had one fail, so I replaced both as we boondock frequently. After overthinking this as usual, I found that the Walmart 29DC gave me the best bang for the buck....plus we go to Walmart frequently as we travel in case I need warrenty. The combo gives me 250 amp hours. EverStart Marine Battery, Group Size 29DC - Walmart.com. These batteries were fresh this month. $86 each
