How do I turn on TV

Just brought home new 2012 Coachman Freelander, and I cannot get the TV on. Everything else works, all lights on, breakers and fuses ok, but no power to the TV or DVD. it is mounted to the wall, can't get to or see the back, what am I missing?

Do you have an inverter, if so is it on. Some RV's have the entertainment system feeding from the inverter so it can be used without being plugged in to shore power.

I'm on shore power. Where would I find an inverter if I had one? Yes I'm a newbie, yes we had a walk thru but never thought to ask how to turn on the tv! Seems it is the only thing w/o power.

I am happy to hear you figured it out. Now do you know how to switch from antenna to cable?

They never put the ground fault near the problem area. My breaker for the TV in my last MH was way in the back next to the bed, took me a while to figure that one out.

@mrrving I have no idea how to switch to cable from antenna... Nor how to set up my satellite box as there is no access to the back of the tv! Oy!

Why would the TV be on a ground fault?

To switch from cable to antenna, there should be a button on a plate the size of a light switch plate with a green light displayed located near the main television compartment. That controls the antenna booster. Just switch the button off green light goes off and you can then access cable. You may have to search for channels when you change locations, so make sure you have your remote controls for televisions.
Also on most motorhomes, when you start the engine it cuts off the tv which is a safety regulation.
