Where the MH goes the toad comes with. Either a Honda CRV or Ford Ranger pickup. Just feel better always having backup tranportation even if we don't need it or use it some trips.

If the trip is about 30 miles or more, we tow. (There is a savings in hook-up time.)

We would NEVER take the MH anyplace, without some type of transport available (other than the MH of course) on the other end.

Tried once not having transportation, thankfully was only a weekend. The Malibu goes where the MH goes, unless we are travling with our friends that are towing their trailer. We then use their van.

what do you think about trailering a smartcar or honda fit and having a large enough trailer (probably open) to also carry the golf cart.

both vehicles are small. this is what we are contemplating on doing. dh doesn't want the wear on the vue being pulled behind. we wouldn't take the golf cart everywhere (pretty much just disney). but, we would have the ability to take both..

it is just what we are thinking right now...

I thought the smart car was a golf cart.

Actually that sounds like a great idea to have both on a trailer.

If you chose to pull the smart car 4 wheels down you can do it with no modifications.
