How to Empty Water Heater in 2008 Jayco Greyhawk 31SS?

We are new to Class C. We knew how to fill the hot water heater but our question is how do we emtly it? We see the drain inside the cabinet but it does not want to come off easily and we are afraid to force it . Is there a certain way to remove the cap? Does it pull off? Does it
twist? Are all so tough to get off?

Our unit is a 2008 Jayco Greyhawk 31SS

Normally you drain the hot water tank from the exterior, as shown in this video:

Be sure that the water heater is NOT full of hot water first! Shut it off and run the hot water out of the system first, or let it sit overnight before attempting to drain it.
