2005 WNBG Aspect. The inverter is not working. I would like to remove it and check it out on the bench. It is located in the galley next to the sink, above the 3 drawers. See attachment.
Does anybody know how to remove it from that location?

I don't believe that is your inverter, that is the remote for the inverter. Can you give more info, what type of inverter is it?

My 05 journey has it in the shore power compartment.

I assumed that this is the inverter panel, because it has an inverter ON/OFF switch. I wanted to take it out because it has a GFI breaker ,which is jammed.
The inverter is 300W. Don't know the brand. I am reluctant, but it looks like I may have to remove the molding from around the panel.

Have you removed the draw under it and looked up at it. May be slid in a bracket of some sort.

Even a smallish 300 watt inverter will generate a lot of heat. There is little or no ventilation in the top of that cabinet.

That may not be the actual inverter, but a display panel with wires to that lead to the actual inverter chassis.

I would remove the two drawers below the panel and look up (flashlight & mirror) and see what is really up there and how it is mounted.

That should give you enough information to proceed.

300 watt inverters are small, the whole thing is there.

Now, before you take things apart, make sure there is 12 volts going to the inverter.

Look for 40 amp fuse or breaker somewhere near the battery compartment, maybe.

If it don't have power to it, it won't make power to reset the GFCI.

I was able to remove the unit from below, with only minor damage. The inverter was mounted on a shelve from above, like before they put on the countertop.
Trying to open the case in order to disconnect the wiring, come to find out it is riveted. Hmmm. They don't make it easy for DIYer.
