Lightbulb Hunt for the Battery Disconnect Switch Continues...

I've recently purchased a 1993 Gulf Stream ultra 29". I cannot find the battery disconnect switch. So, I've emailed Gulf Stream and their response was:

" Check in the front drivers outside compartment for the disconnect switch. The switch will be silver in color."

I haven't had an opportunity to look yet because shes in the shop, but do you think they're talking about the engine bay? Around the drivers door? Something I'm not even thinking of? His descriptions is slightly vague. Thanks for the guidance.

I may have said this before, but Gulfstream did make some coaches with no battery disconnect switch. My 2001 Conquest Classic was one of them.

I still can't get over the fact that GS actually wrote you back.

Yes it is possible there is no disconnect switch. They were pretty good about putting them in the Class A's though.

You not the first to be surprised that I heard back from them. Not a good sign. I gave them all the information about my year and model so I would hope that if i didn't have a switch or it was auto they would say that. He did give me a specific location and color so I'm hoping to find that switch soon.
