HWH Electrical problems

I have an HWH system on my 31ft Fourwinds. About a month ago I found that the rear jacks wouldn't deploy by moving the handle to the rear. They would deploy only if you leveled from side to side. To compensate I've always had to choose a site that was low in the front, raise it then level side to side to get the rear jacks down.

I've taken the cover off and sprayed the area under the lever with contact cleaner as that is what was suggested by my dealer. It helped a little but not all the time.

Is there somewhere I should be cleaning contacts or directing the spray?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Do they work OK if you leave the cover off and try to work them?
Does the pump run and the jacks just do not go down?
The only electrical at joy stick control is an off and on plate switch for the pump motor.

The on/off switch is made into the cover so with it off they will not work at all. They will all go down but, you have to lower the rears by leveling side to side. This is a system with only one joy stick so you can't lower a jack individually. You have to lower them in pairs ie LL/RR/FF/RR. Apparently this is to keep from twisting the frame and popping the windshield out

The Joy stick, after you remove the cover, has a large rounded cone that comes into contact with a thin piece of copper. This sends voltage to the pump, the pump runs fine by the way, but there must be another contact point somewhere else that I can't find.

I take it you are saying the pump runs but the back jacks do not go down.
Do they go down with the cover off were you can move the stick further back to the rear?

No to the pump running, nothing happens. If you notice the brass/copper plate the two wires art attached to, I'm thinking that I'm not getting continuity to the lever and that plate in the back position. Not sure as the cover plate has to be on to make the unit work as far as I can tell. I've not tried to run it with the plate off.

Any other ideas?

Again when the lever is moved to the rear position nothing happens. No pump running or anything that I can hear or tell by listening.

This particular unit has to have the cover in place to complete the circuitry and make anything run. The on/off switch is built into the cover.

Again, the rear jacks deploy only if the lever is moved to level the unit side to side. I can lift the front jacks down as a pair but not the rear.

As you know the switch is bad to the rear.
I do not know if you can get parts or not.
I suggest that you call HWH and they will help you.

What switch are you talking about? On my unit there is but one on/off switch. If you are saying the contact point for the lever I agree.

Yes there is only one switch at the contact plate as in the diagrams below.

Looks like to me that the switch plate contact ring is the problem. The rear jacks do go down but not independently of the front jack on the same side.

i did e-mail HWH but frankly I've done that before and never gotten a reply.
