Where the Pressure Sensor elbow meets the jack tube was leaking. I fixed it with a grease gun hose from NAPA, $8.00. It has the right threads and works perfectly. Changed the mounting spot for the sensor but it is still in the same area.

Not me, was my friendly NAPA parts guy/shop owner. Cool fellow, lived here in Calabash all his life. Grew up watching high speed boats run drugs up the Intercoastal Waterway ICW. I was taking the in the box method, looking for fittings but had the wrong type. He took one look and pulled out that grease hose.

The HWH seems to be self bleeding so just need to top of the oil tank.

OK, but you were smart enough to take advantage of an unconventional solution. There's many who would be horrified at the very idea. Besides, it was a good idea and it worked.

I grew up with a father that had a garage full of tools. If we wanted to play with stuff, he'd just turn us loose there. We used to make our own fishing sinkers from lead that he got from old tire weights and batteries. I suspect the smelting process left us with some traces of lead but we're all still sort of 'sane'. We dug holes in our back yard to make into forts. He let us be resourceful. Life was good back then.
