Thank you. Yes it does have ducted A/C and seems to work pretty good. One of the first things I noticed about this unit when we saw it on the dealer's lot was the amount of outside storage it has, almost on a par with a Class A. I don't think I've seen another Class C with this kind of storage. We love it as the storage inside is extremely lacking. I installed a set of the "bed lift" (my term as I don't remember the product name) assist cylinders to make it easier to access the under bed storage area. I plan on building a set of sliding drawers to fit under the couch for more storage. I also added a set of the slide out plastic drawers that fit under the dinette table top for knives, forks and such. The shelving I added to one half of our "hallway" clothes closet and the bedside closets helps too.
We are really happy with the unit and feel we got a very good deal. The roof had just been redone within the last year, the Carefree awning looks like it's never been used, maybe a new replacement; all of the roof vents have those covers installed over them and are hinged so you easily access the actual vent cover, there is a 2nd TV installed in the bedroom, it has an ADCO (?) windshield cover. It also came with installed auto leveling power scissor jacks which make for easy setup at the campsite. YES, we are very happy with this unit!
Also, tonight I stumbled on a blogsite called
DogVentures in RV'ing. The couple writing it recently bought a 1997 Georgie Boy Maverick and they are writing about their various trips in it and a little on some of their various problems and fixes. Go to the "Background" entry and he has pics of the original Ford window sticker and the Georgie Boy "window sticker". It listed for $57,708 in 1997.
I also found a website called
Georgie Boy Owners Club but there is not much activity on it.
Have you done/planning to do any mods to your unit and what features does it have?
