Infotainment Question?

Just took delivery of our new View 24J last week and have been filling my free time with trying to understand all the systems in vehicle. This is our first RV and I am learning there is much to learn. For the most part everything is pretty straight forward and everything appears to be working as designed. The only problem I am having is being able to get the Infotainment system to feed to the coach speakers. They only feed to the chassis speakers. When I go into settings I do not see the touch screen button for "House" which the manual shows should be present. I only get the "AUX" button. I called the dealer on this and they weren't sure what to do and indicated that the manual is a general manual and may not be exactly indicative of what is installed, though they said to bring the coach in and they would look at it. I'm not buying the general manual thing as this looks like it should be a standard feature. Will take coach in if necessary, but would like to avoid the 1.5 hour drive each way. Has anyone had this problem and if so what is the solution?

I have a similar coach with the infotainment ctr. To my knowledge the sound and/or music cannot be sent to the speakers in the sprinter speakers, only the WGO speakers.

Riverpark (Builders of Infotainment)customer service is fantastic and they will work with you and walk you through all sorts of stuff. They have been great helping me get my system straightened out and functioning quite well.

Had a brief issue with our GPS. Contacted RiverPark and got the following response.

Between 1 DIN unit (with DVD/CD) loader and the monitor, there are 2 separate cables. These cables are identified with a label. One of the cables is marked “AV harness” (this is the bigger connector) and the other cable is marked “Comm harness” (this is the smaller connector). The failure notification that you are seeing suggests that the communication harness may be loose or not set properly. These connectors are located near the 1 DIN unit which is installed behind the dashboard. You can ask your dealership to check this out on a next service visit, or if you will comfortable, you can try reinserting the cable yourself.

I doubt if Riverpark will be able to help you. Likely the unit was not connected to the coach speakers when Winnebago installed it. My 24J does not play through the coach speakers. Use the coach stereo for that.
