Insurance?

So I have a Fleetwood Jamboree that was insured by AAA last year. I received my bill for this year and the premium went up $200 dollars. I called them and the agent explained that it went up because I drove it!? Exact mileage last year was 4000 miles. Anyways, looking for a new insurance company, who do you recommend?

Progressive and the Lizard gave me better rates than AAA. Who do you have?

Try Bluesky insurance. I got a really good deal with them.

I have progressive because the coverage for RVs was the best I could find. I noticed my premium went up a little bit like 35 bucks but still. I couldn't find better coverage i.e. full purchase price reimbursement if I total it versus assessed value or something like that and if I hit someone or some thing at a campground they cover a certain amount.

I have coach-net for the roadside assistance part of it but haven't used it so I don't really know how it will work.

Good Luck!

Who do you have your other vehicles insured with? You usually get a multi-car discount. I have all my vehicles with Geico and I pay under $350 per year for full coverage for my 03 Class C which includes roadside emergency services.

Everything with AAA, switching everything including home too. Rates to high. House went up $167 even though value has decreased. Cars up $200, RV up $200.

I'll throw in another vote for Progressive. Seems that they have the market for insuring 'toys'. I also ended up getting the boat covered through them too. My house and cars are with Erie, but Progressive leads the way on cheap premiums on toys.

I went with Blue Sky RV Insurance. Lowered my payment $141 dollars and the coverage is way better.

We had Progressive, no claims, and about three years of reducing deductibles. Had a rock break the windshield of the Jeep. Found a local outfit that would replace it for $154 in my driveway. Called Progressive to find out how much it would cost going through them. They ABSOLUTELY refused to give me any information till I said (as coached) "that I want to file a claim". The quote was almost $400. I told them to cancel the claim (as they said I could). What they didn't say was that I lost the reducing deductible and my rates went up due to the "claim". When I went shopping for other companies Progressive told them that there was a claim on my record of $0 to $1000. They didn't bother to say it was 0. When I found out I contacted the State Insurance Comm., they said it was legal but certainly not ethical.

We now have GMAC.

Great TV commercials don't equal great or even ethical services, I'd stay clear of those folks.
