Who is your insurance carrier? why do you like/dislike them?

I am currently searching for one, our car insurance co. does not specialize in RV's so they were fairly high in cost(at least we thought so) So we are looking to get some quotes from other companies.

Yea, our (former) car insurance program did not like rv's either. So, I went online and did some comparisons and found Progressive to be significantly cheaper. Plus, they offer full purchase price replacement for 2 years, if the unit is "totaled."
We then checked the numbers on our family cars and switched them as well.
We have not had any claims, thankfully, so I cannot speak to the service side, but I am pleased with the cost savings.
Happy hunting!

Ditto on the Good Sam VIP ins. always served me well no problems when we had a claim! They took care of every thing and I was back on the road in no time.

We also found Progressive to be significantly less expensive than other mainstream providers. And the people you talk with at Progressive are ALWAYS helpful and friendly --- VERY nice!

Have you checked AARP? I have two cars, my MH and homeowners through them and saved a bunch of money from previous policy.

The times I have checked with GS or GMAC, the insurance price was out of sight.

....and yet Good Sam VIP/GMAC saved us hundreds of dollars a year over State Farm, with better coverage. Go figger, I guess.

American Modern. AWESOME, reasonable, roof insured, a/c covers if I hit something, very comprehensive and Mh driven. My State Farm agent looked at it and said he couldn't even touch it. We pay 875.00 for the year, full replacement value

Just curious so I can make sure I'm getting a good deal. Can't really figure what kind of deal you're getting if we don't compare prices and simply say we got a good deal.
Here's my insurance:
2001 Mazda, MPV Van, full coverage $496.00/yr
1997 Dodge Dakota 4X4, liability only $240/yr
2006 Forest River Lexington,283GTS full replacement for $427/yr
My home is insured through them too.
Thank God, no accidents in over 5 yrs.
Seems reasonable to me but let me know where to get it cheaper.
