A inverter is a box that converts 12VDC to 110VAC. I have 2 plugs on this inverter circuit. My problem was the plugs would not work even after we checked all the other GFI plugs. Inverter circuits are often used to run satellite dishes or entertainment centers in the larger Class C's. Mine also powers the overhead garage door on my Fun Mover. In any case the inverter is a small black box about 3X7X12 inches. My Xantrex inverter has a GFI switch on the front of the inverter! The inverter on my 2006 Fun Mover could only be seen by removing the bottom silverware drawer and looking to the right under the fuse box. (this was not easy to find) Pushing the GFI button on the inverter activated the circuit and the two plugs.
