Jay Seneca

We recently purchased a new 2015 Seneca 36FK. The unit came equipped with a Winegard Roatrip Mission TV antenna mounted on the roof. Can anyone tell me what I need to get this up and running? We have no receivers or service. The installation manual shows a power switch for the unit. Where would this be located if it was installed? I suppose this could be part of the installation that I would need to complete. I know that we would have to purchase receivers and service from Dish Network but have no idea about wiring of hookups. Thanks!

Our power switch is inside the cabinet above the TV (37FS). Why Jayco put it there is beyond me. We use Dish, so had to change the dip switches on the antenna inside the dome cover and purchased a receiver from Dish.

I believe Direct TV and Bell also work with that dish.

Jayco Seneca

Thanks for the reply. I have checked the cabinet above the TV and fireplace twice. No switch. It's gotta be somewhere! Yes this satellite does support Dish, Direct TV and Bell services. I will purchase a receiver and keep investigating. Maybe a call to Jayco. Thanks again.

I called Direct about service and they told me I needed to buy a receiver from Winegardner (sp) or from someplace like camping world and then call Direct and add service. Seems like a big pain.

Do you have a system at home? We use direct at home and when I leave on a trip I take the bedroom receiver with me. It's already programmed with the DVR catching shows just like home. And, it's not costing me anything.

I wish I could help you with the switch. I gave up on rooftop on my new coach and have an automatic in the basement that I sit on the ground. When you camp in the midwest, the trees drive you nuts.
