Jensen Media System

We just downsized from a 31' Class A to a 2011 24' Freelander 21QB, Class C. Rig has a Jensen system...rv, radio, backup camera, dvd player.

We mostly stay in RV parks and use their cable hookup. We have no manuals for the Jensen system and can't get tv to work on cable. It does work on "air" antenna.

I know there's a switch, where tv cables attach. I've tried switching it...one way a green light comes on, the other way it's off. But no cable transmission.

Does anyone out there have a simple answer for me? Oh...and we don't have a remote...and can't seem to get a Universal Remote to work...must admit...due to laziness...trying code, after code, after code.

Any help or commiseration would be appreciated. Thanks...Jude

I have the Jensen system. I just go into the menu, click over to channel setup, select "cable" rather than "air" and I'm not sure with cable if you have to scan, but you can do that. Mine works fine after that.
