Hi Ted, LOL ours was a pretty basic rig when we got it (ex rental) and there are no emergency features with it other than our modifications. Turning the key on and off should accomplish the same thing.
I'm deaf, can't even hear those smoke detectors, even with the hearing aid, I'd have to wait for a weekend to get someone with decent hearing to do the listening and I'll do it just out of curiosity. The relay arived today, pretty neat, the pkg says 'Snow Plow parts for Western snow plows. Anyway it's purpose on the plows is power source for lifting the blade either a hydraulic motor and pump or a straight elect motor. If there is anothe relay I'll find a good use for it if it works, but I suspect that the wire goes from a fuse to the house battery via a couple of plugs or splices in the unused trailer wiringm more than likely a coroded pin or splice.
BTW, the new relay is going in, looks like a very easy installation.
