Looking at 35' Pace Arrow with slide
Hello all,
New to the forum and thinking about buying a 1997 Pace Arrow with slide.
Originally told myself I would not get a Class A with slide for fear of extra mechanical problems, but after looking at the extra room, seems like a good idea. Hoping someone with more experience will chime in.

2 slides even better. not much resale on 1 or no slides. keep lookin. its a buyers market.

Wannabe FTer, if your name is what you really want to be, you should really consider two slides or more. Not much goes wrong with the slides. Just keep the exterior sidewalls clean & the seals lubed with talcom powder or silicone spray where they rub against the exterior body. Also make sure the area is clear inside the rv where the slide will retract to when closing it up. Welcome to the forum & have fun searching. Post here often with questions or your final decision when you make it.

Have to say that 3 was a charm for the wife and I ! 
Went from a no slide Bounder to a 3 slide Southwind, and even though we really never wanted the kitchen slide we don't regret having it now! 
Like was posted above so far we've had no problems with ours!

We started out with a 93 on a P30 with no slides and 2 1/2 years later since we loved RVing we upgraded to an 05 Pace Arrow with 3 slides. We are now planning our first super cross country trip. There are plenty of older coaches out there that are good starter rigs that need a good home. Good Luck.

With all of the various and complex components in a Class A motohome, a slide is not at the top of things to worry about. Some people have trouble, but LOTS of motorhomes out there with multiple slides and never a problem. My Coachmen is 2 years older than the PA you're looking at and my slide functions perfectly.
Buy the biggest, nicest, roomiest coach you can afford and never look back.

Recently traded my 1997 Pace Arrow Vision 36B for a DP. Loved the coach for the 5 years we had it. Had one slide. Bedroom was more than adequate with no slide. Many drawers and good closet space. Great first coach. I would highly recommend. Only problem encountered dealt with Jacks. Had to replace pump and one jack was leaking slightly when traded. I had the 460 v8 and added BANKS. Great improvement in performance but MPG was negligble. Go for it.....
