Well, we did it! After lots of visits to dealers and talking to everyone we could about class C's we purchased a 2007 Winnebago View 23H! At first I thought I really wanted a real bedroom, but after driving several of the larger rigs, I just was not comfortable. We bought the H model which has a sofabed in the slide, dinette and the overhead bunk. The bath is in the rear. The "living space" is about the same as the 27' and 29' class c's we were looking at, I'll just be making up my bed at night! I really love the size and features, quality seems excellent in the coach and you can't beat the 18mpg with the diesel engine.

We will take it on it's maiden voyage this weekend. We show three shelties in AKC agility trials. It is mostly dry camping, although this weekend we will have water and electric hookups. So, we'll see how it goes!

Well, congratulations Carol. Sounds like you took your time and looked around a lot. There are many who do not. We use ours in doing craft shows on weekends with a lot of dry camping too. Works well for us. Enjoy the new toy.

dmatt: sorry I do not know of any way to assess a dealer ahead of time. Word of mouth gets around fast among Rvers when they have had trouble. Personal experience is the most accurate.
