Lund Bug Deflector fit on an E450/V10?

I want to add a Lund bug deflector to my 2006 Ford E450 but some sites say it will not fit on the cabs with the V10 engine. Has anyone installed one on their 2004 to 2007 E450 with a V10?

Weathertech sells them, fit good on a 2012, you might call them for your model year.

Thanks for the reply. I will be calling Lund today but I'm actually looking for someone that's installed or tried to install the Lund on the earlier cab style.

I have put one on my 04 Itasca Sundancer, easy to install and many manufacturers. Bought mine at Autozone.

Thanks. I ordered one from Auto Zone today as they listed it for the V10. Cheapest place I found also. I called Lund but they could not tell me if I had to drill any holes or not and did not have any notes on the V10 even though a couple of places on line said it did not fit the E450s with the V10. Should be here in a couple of days.

Got the Lund bug deflector in today and installed it on the E450 V10. Had to drill four holes for the deflector itself on the underside of the hood. The underside is plastic or fiberglass so drilling was easy. Hardest part was getting it centered and marking drilling points as the existing holes underneath the hood are not centered and don't match the holes on the deflector. I then had to drill six holes in the bottom of the deflector to uncover the mounting holes for the rubber strip that keeps rain out of the engine compartment. Took about 45 minutes in all. Mostly making sure it was centered, would close properly, and marking the holes.

The Lund on my Ford SUV was easy. Mounted in four existing holes in about five minutes. This one takes some work.
