Mattress advice

After two seasons of use our mattress in the rear of our Chateau 24c is in need of replacement. Can anyone point me in a direction where I can buy a decent mattress that is more comfortable than the OE model? The corner mattress has the cut off corner which may make it a bit more of an issue to find a new unit.

We bought a 10 inch memory foam on Amazon. We are very pleased with it. It was a touch firmer than we like so we added a memory foam topper and now we love it. With memory foam you also have the option of unzipping the cover and trimming the mattress to fit you application.

Brooklyn bedding wmakes memory foam mattresses for RVs. They have a bunch of standard RV mattress sizes and also do custom sizing. I'd opt for the thicker of the two options.

We had the same problem in our Lexington and looked up local mattress manufacturers and low and behold, there was one in our area. They made a great mattress and in speaking with the couple, they did a lot of motorhomes. We had to take the motorhome to them so they could measure properly and they made one that was flippable (many today are not). We sold the Lex and the mattress went with it. We like the one in our new Aspect, but if we get to the point of needing something else, we know where to look.
Look up manufacturers in the yellow pages...or google it

we just bought a new Winnie and the mattress wasn't as good as I would like so I bought a 4" memory foam and cut it (electric meat knife) to fit and it was just the ticket ....sheets fit over both and it's very comfortable at a fraction of a good mattress

Mattress Insider .com is a great company especially for the 5 sided mattress. We have a Thor 23u with the 5 sided mattress. We measured precisely and ordered their best inner spring mattress. It came rolled up and compressed, it opened to full size in about 2 hours and fit lime a glove! After about 30 nights we absolutely love it. The company did exactly what they said they would do. I would shop with them again.

We had the corner queen bed with cut off corner. I ordered a six inch piece of foam from Welcome to Foam Factory, Inc.. Laid it in the opening and marked where to cut it. A sharp knife went through it like butter. It is very dense foam and sleeps extremely well. You can order a cover but it is not really necessary. Only cost $170 with free shipping.

I did exactly the same thing, ordered a mattress and enough foam to repad the dinette set. I sleep wonderfully and I cut it with a razor knife.
I couldn't believe the little package had all that material in it.
