Microwave inop with generator.

I have a class C, Itasca. My problem is my microwave works fine when plugged in at a campground. If I run the generator, the microwave does not work. I have checked all of the circuit breakers and fuses. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

When you say does not work, meaning no power to the microwave? The outlet it's plugged into is evidently not connected to the generator. Any other outlets this way? Does it work on inverter?

It does work on the inverter. Everything else works. The 110 sockets work. It had been working on the generator, then all of a sudden, no longer operating when I put the generator on.

This may sound stupid but I have to ask; When you disconnected from the campground did you plug your shoreline back into the RV? That would certainly explain why it works on the inverter but not the generator.

There are no stupid questions. I appreciate the help. Yes, I plug it in. The plug had indications of arching, so I replaced it, hoping that was it. No change with the new plug.

Check the generator for tripped circuit breakers.

You may be seeing 110 sockets working because the inverter is powering them.

I am having a similar issue, only with my a/c and microwave. Generator works until I put a significant load on it, then quits generating, but still runs. I suspect bad brushes or corroded slip rings in the generator. No circuit breakers are tripped, not even the one in the generator. I am taking it in this weekend to be checked out.
A/C is new and works fine on SP.
