Minnie Winnie electrical (scangauge) ?

2004 MW 30 V

This morning when I retracted the front slide I noticed out of the corner of my eye that the scangauge(OBDII reader) blinked on and off. From reading the schematics it seems like the only connection from the coach to house should be the battery boost switch, which is not engaged.

I've been having problem with the coach battery running down, now I'm wondering if they could be related.

Any ideas ?

Thanks
Jim

You are probably correct. The battery isolation relay (solenoid) should make a distinct clicking sound when you engage the emergency start button. If you dpn't hear the click then your relay is probably defective causing the coach and house batteries to be connected. Both batteries will run down. It is an easy fix. The solenoid is probably on the firewall of you unit. You will have heavy cables going to both batteries. Make sure you get a continuous duty replacement solenoid.
