Take it off and add another layer of insulation.

I have a Itasca 26 2012 model.

I pulled up the rubber mat and put down a layer of insulation with the foil back in the whole cab floor area and around the area of the engine box where I could. I made a big change in the amount of heat that came up from the entire floor/engine area.

Have that on my old Honey... need to do something like that eventually. I just stuff a blanket on the floor when the heat gets to me too much or go sit in the back away from it when it gets too much at this point. Longest trip we took so far was last summer to Yellowstone... that is when I finally stuck a blanket down there to block some of the heat. ( our cab air doesn't work and that doesn't help matters, we run a generator and run the house air on the road in summer.)
