Nevada and California are two of the highest states I can think of. You will have to move to another state, establish residency, and re-register the vehicle. Probably not worth it.

Your numbers mean nothing and cannot be compared to anyone else without more info.
Registration: Yr, make, model of coach.
Insurance: Yr, make, model of coach, coverages, deductibles, etc, as well as your age, driving record, etc.
My insurance (in SoCal) on a 2004 Itasca class A is a little over $600/yr. $100,000/$300,000/$50,000, $500 deductible (both comp & collision), uninsured coverage, medical, etc. 55 yrs old, clean driving record.
Don't remember my registration off the top of my head.

GA has a 7% ad velorum tax, so our '17 Winnebago cost us $6,500 the first year, then it will be $20 per year afterwards. Our insurance through Progressive is $1,500 per year with actual replacement cost.

???
Yr, make, model means everything, as does coverages and deductibles.
I guarantee that it will cost a fraction to register and insure a 15 yr old 19' class C in Nevada than it will to register and insure a 1 yr old 45' DP in Iowa. So does that mean than Iowans are getting screwed and Nevadans are getting a great deal? Of course not.
Again, your numbers, and comparisons, mean nothing without info about your coach at minimum.

I have to agree with 4x4van. When my 2001 class c was new my insurance was over $800. Now I pay around $480 per year for same coverage. As far as registration, here in New York I have been paying around $225 for a two year sticker

Is that on top of the Sales Tax?

My yearly registration is $126 now. But thats after paying the 9.8% sales/use tax. That can buy a nice, new car in some cases.

It replaces the sales tax on purchases. It is based on GA's valuation of the vehicle if the vehicle was purchased out of state. Also, in-state purchases with trades are only taxed in the net amount.
In our case, we bought new a month before moving to Georgia. We had the dealer paperwork with purchase price, but GA used their valuation which was higher :(

NV is not a RV tax friendly state as in addition to registration fees of approximately $35, they also charge a Governmental Service Tax (GST) each year which is based on the value of the RV.
It is on a sliding scale that is calculated by taking 35% of the MSRP in the year first sold to establish the DMV valuation which is then taxed at 4%. The DMV valuation is decreased by 5% the second year and then 10% each year after that until it reaches a minimum of 15%.
There are some counties that add to the 4% tax (for example Clark adds 1% for a total of 5%).
There are other states like I believe Colorado and some counties in Virginia, that have a property tax based on the value of the RV. This makes a Montana LLC very attractive to some as they not only would save on the sales tax, but also the yearly valuation tax. The problem is if the owners continue to maintain their legal residence in those states, they could be putting themselves in jeopardy of being found guilty of tax evasion.
