What can I do to move 200# of weight from the rear to the front of the motorhome? Gen. in left front compartment , propane in right compartment , and 2 # 31 battery's in compartment next to propane. Do not like putting 200# in overhead storage inside, or would it be O.K.?

Where is your fresh water tank? How full is it? Spare tire on the back? Move it to the front. I actually get a bit of a fulcrum effect in adding weight to the front axle and reducing on the rear when I add air in my airbag suspension in the rear. Have weighed to prove it.

We have a class C. I store tool box and extra cases of beverages under the jackknife sofa and dinette seats rather than in the basement.

Let's look at it the other way around. Why would you want to move 200 pounds around?

On a coach that weighs in the area of 12,000 pounds we're talking about less than 2%, or about half the liquid your coach can carry.

I'm also curious as to the need to "move" 200#. Is the rear axle overloaded, is there not enough weight on the front axle ?

Mich F , I would like more weight in front. Front GAWR is 4600 and I have 4088. Rear GAWR is 9450 and I have 9170. Total GAWR is 14050 and I have 13258 with full gas and LP, and 1/4 water including DW and lugnut the dog. NO food. ALL TANKS ARE BEHIND THE REAR END.

No, not to bad. Changed caster and got 6 with adjustables. Toe was WAY off. Camber OK. Looking for some place to get corner weights. I would just like to have more upfront weight. I think it would HELP.

The simplest solution is not to move weight, but rather put any added weight as far forward as possible.

Things like portable totes full of water that can be poured into the tank at destination or as needed. Dry and canned food is pretty heavy also. Even just leaving the water tank empty and putting 20 gallons forward in totes could easily shift a total of 400 pounds forward.

Assuming you're running 225x75x16" tires, with your current weight distribution, you have about a 500# cushion on your front tires at 62#. Your rear tires appear to be under inflated. 70# is only good for up to 8,880. I'd suggest running 75# in the rear tires (some would say more).

Murf2u Only way to fill water tank is with water hose. THAT WILL CHANGE THIS WINTER. Mich F Will change pressure , and let you know how it works. I did not have inflation tables. Thanks every one for your help.
